Mailing list members are persons that have signed up for a specific list to get periodic emails, including weekly newsletters. In case the app that is used to manage the mailing list allows it, you can also add mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be looked upon as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Generally, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a hyperlink in the email messages they receive, or you, as the mailing list admin, can remove them manually in case they ask for this or in case you reach the decision that some of the members should not be part of the list any longer. Each member will be able to see only their address in the "To" field of the email messages they receive, but not the addresses of the other members of the mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Shared Website Hosting
The feature-ridden Majordomo mailing list manager that is included with our Linux shared website hosting will grant you full control over the members of any mailing list that you set up via the Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to add or delete mailing list members by sending an email message to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any location without even having to sign into the hosting Control Panel. If you import a mailing list member manually, they will get a verification request that they have to accept in order to become part of the list. Once they do this, they will receive an email with the list’s bylaws and options. You will also be able to view a full list of all your subscribers and to keep an eye on who is getting your newsletters or any other type of periodic online correspondence.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you get a semi-dedicated server through us and you create mailing lists through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you will be able to manage all your subscribers without effort. We provide one of the most popular mailing list management software apps called Majordomo. It will enable you to view all your subscribers, to authorize new or to delete existing ones by sending a message to the mailing list’s administrator address, so you can manage everything without even signing in to your hosting Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, being the mailing list administrator, will be able to achieve that. New mailing list subscribers will need to approve their membership, so the emails that you send will be authorized and you will not have to worry about email messages getting reported as spam. We’ve also got several how-to articles where you can find more information about how to manage the mailing list.
